As Hollywood's most anticipated show-turned-movie gets ready to roll out the red carpet, Focus Feature's Downton Abbey the film is coming to San Francisco Proper Hotel for Afternoon Tea Service in the artfully designed Lobby Lounge. Fans can reserve seats for the themed Afternoon Tea on Sunday, September 8th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. For $40, guests will enjoy a variety of tea snacks like English cucumber finger sandwiches, house made pastries with preserves, cultured butter & clotted cream, Choux au Craquelin, a Swedish style cream puff with vanilla scented whipped cream and rhubarb cherry jam, and more!
Guests of San Francisco Proper's Downtown Abbey Afternoon Tea will be given tickets to the film's prescreening happening on September 18th at 7:00 pm at the Century 9 downtown, before the movie is publicly released on September 20th. Representatives from Focus Features will be in attendance to hand out a limited number of VIP tickets to the pre-screening, along with promotional items including themed posters, tea kits, branded umbrellas, puzzles, and more.
Reservations are required for the tea service and can be made via OpenTable.
