* Alpine Skiing - Women: Americans Lindsey Kildow and Julia Mancuso go for gold against superstars Anja Paerson of Sweden and Janica Kostelic of Croatia in the super-G.
* Speed Skating - Women: 2002 American medalists Chris Witty (gold) and Jennifer Rodriguez (bronze) look to win medals again, but face stiff competition from a 1000m field that includes Germany's Anni Friesinger.
