Jason Martinez is very knowledgeable about rhododendrons. Until recently he was in charge of the Rhododendron Garden at the San Francisco Botanical Garden, as well as the Ancient Plant Garden, the Mediterranean Garden and the Garden of Fragrance.

Earlier this year Jason Martinez took over the grounds of an area in the West end of Golden Gate Park between 41st Ave to Great Highway at Ocean Beach, including the area of the two windmills (Dutch and Murphy), the Beach Chalet, and the Soccer Fields.
