An all new Nutcracker tells the familiar story of the magical world created by the mysterious and talented Herr Drosselmeyer for Clara and Fritz. In this version Drosselmeyer is aided by the Fairy of Inspiration who, in addition to a healthy helping of magic fairy dust, whispers wise words to Drosselmeyer who replaces frowns with laughter, accusations with compliments, and irritation with good cheer as we all survive the pompous Mouse King to travel through the Snow Kingdom to a world of Sweets and Happiness ruled by the Sugar Plum Fairy. 25 professional dancers from Peninsula Ballet Theatre are joined by Clara, Fritz and their friends to present a holiday treat for the whole family.
