San Francisco State School of Theatre and Dance will present Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, a play about entangled lovers and flummoxed fairies as part of the San Francisco State School of Theatre and Dance's Spring 2022 season.
This contemporary yet fantastical production of Shakespeare's beloved comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream tells the interweaving tales of the Athenian lovers, mechanical performers, and crafty fairies. Confusion and suspicion are ever present throughout the forest and not a human nor fairy are safe from the perplexing potion of love. A Midsummer Night's Dream is a play for an all-age audience. Our production at San Francisco State School of Theater and Dance aims to add some moonlit enchantment to the theatrical space, as directed by Bill Peters.
