Idiot String is excited to announce our 2022 Peripatetic Players summer tour: "A Lord Of A Ring In A Suitcase: A Two-Part Trilogy (The Extend-Ish Edition)" - July 16-31, 2022.
One does not simply walk into Mordor... without a change of costume!
Join our adventuresome band of traveling thespians, the Peripatetic Players, as they courageously attempt to enact J.R.R. Tolkien's epic Lord Of The Rings trilogy in two hour-long installments! Help the Peripatetic Players run from ringwraiths, scintillatingly swordfight, and secretly scarf second breakfasts in this ridiculous romp around Middle Earth at a park near you. The Players have fit their entire production into several suitcases -- even the smallest bag can change the course of this play! Bring a blanket and the whole family to enjoy the adventure as it unfolds all around you. Performances are outdoors; actors in proximity to audience members will be masked. Shows are free and appropriate for audiences of all ages! Donations are gratefully accepted.
