Join us at the International Culinary Center for a unique tasting experience led by Sake Master Stuart Morris. Morris is 1 of 2 American Sake Masters and 1 of only 6 non-Japanese Sake Masters. His intense interest and knowledge of the beverage has taken him across Japan, studying in sake breweries under the tutelage of numerous Tojis (brewmasters). Listen as Stuart shares his knowledge of the history, culture, production methods, and styles of sake.
During this class, you will have the opportunity to taste eight sakes—including some rare sakes obtained by Morris through his unique relationships with small-production breweries in Japan. By the end of class, you will have a working knowledge of sake styles, rice varieties, pairing recommendations, and more.
