How do you successfully launch a new mobility solution for cities? Come hear from larger companies and startups — as well as the policymakers guiding the processes — about how collaboration can be successful. Speakers include:
Evan Goldin / Chariot: Evan is the Director of Product at Chariot, recently acquired by Ford and used by thousands of commuters and dozens of companies in San Francisco and Austin. Chariot will expand to eight new markets this year. Previously, he was the first product manager at Lyft.
William Chernicoff / Toyota Mobility Foundation: William defines the foundation’s research agenda and provides technology guidance to projects. He previously worked with Toyota’s Energy & Environmental Research Group and the US Department of Transportation.
Emily Stapleton / Motivate: Emily manages the Bay Area Bikeshare, which has entered into a partnership with Ford ("Ford GoBike") to grow the region’s bike share fleet ten-fold to 7K bicycles from the current 700, at no cost to taxpayers.
Pierre Maillot / Bosch Group: Pierre focuses on strategizing and implementing Bosch technologies in a smart community development in San Francisco, managed by FivePoint - the largest developer of mixed-use communities in California.
Moderator - Tilly Chang / SF County Transportation Authority: As Executive Director, Tilly spearheads strategic planning and allocates funding for transportation projects in collaboration with Muni, BART, Caltrain, other government agencies, and the public.
Thank you to our event sponsors, Microsoft and Toyota! This event is co-produced by SPUR, the San Francisco Bay Area Planning and Urban Research Association.
