Qigong practice rests on three basic principles: controlling the body, controlling the qi and controlling the mind. While most Qigongs are simple to learn, these three principles are essential to creating an authentic and ‘real’ practice.
This course will focus on teaching this foundation, using routines and exercises to guide you from theory to practice. You will acquire a new alphabet, the alphabet of Qigong, which will allow you to tailor the moves to your own body and situation. We will concentrate on posture, alignment, tone, relaxation, fluidity, balance, breath and intent.
