Want to see Silicon Valley in action? Join us for a day in the Valley, starting with a private tour of one of Silicon Valley's most active investors, before listening to some local startups pitching for investment. Then we'll grab some lunch before taking a casual drive through the campus areas of various tech-giants on the way back to San Francisco.
This is a great opportunity to learn about how local Silicon Valley startups pitch, and what the local US investors are looking for. It's also a chance to see the global headquarters of tech giants like Google and Facebook.
We can only take a maximum of 20 people on this tour, so please book early to avoid missing out.
The schedule
We will start the morning meeting at 0700am outside the Intercontinental Hotel at 888 Howard St, San Francisco.
From there our bus will take us down to into the Valley to the Plug & Play Tech Centre, which is an early stage accelerator and investor (the most active investor in bay area in 2016).
On arrival we will have a private guided-tour of the Plug & Play Tech Centre, including an overview of it's history.
Then we will join their weekly industry focused startup pitch event with Plug and Play Ventures, who previously invested in Dropbox, Paypal, LendingClub, and hundreds more. The startups will be pitching for funding to their expert panel of of Plug & Play EIRs, selected corporate partners, and VCs.
The pitches will finish around noon, and then we will take a short bus ride for a unique local lunch experience.
After lunch we will board the bus for a casual drive back through the Google campus, past Facebook and Sandhill Road, as we weave our way back to San Francisco.
