New Oakland Music Festival Brings Reggae, EDM to Middle Harbor Shoreline Park

Bringing together Rastas and bassheads alike, the first ever Bay Area Vibez Music & Arts Festival comes to Oakland. Marley brothers Damian “Jr. Gong” and Stephen “Ragga” Marley along with Aloe Blacc headline Saturday while Bassnectar and Nas clean up the following day. Promising on-stage live art, local craft beer and wine, a diverse lineup, and a nightly silent disco, the festival aims to start a legacy here in the Bay with an impressive inaugural year. It all takes place on the shores of the East Bay at the Middle Harbor Shoreline Park right on the port of Oakland September 26-27. Full lineup at bayareavibez.com.
