Celebrate National Fishing Week
In celebration of National Fishing Week, Blue Mermaid Chowder House and Bar (471 Jefferson Street) is reeling in the good times with some incredible tastings that showcase the best in local, sustainable Bay Area seafood.
A 3-course prix fixe dinner menu will be offered this Friday from 5PM until 10PM. The event encourage guests to bring any fresh fish into the restaurant (limit one fish per table and under twenty pounds) and Chef Steven Connolly will prepare and cook the fish for guests to enjoy.
In addition to this unique dining opportunity, Blue Mermaid will also be offering a special 3-course dinner menu for $36 the entire week, from June 2 through June 8. The menu will showcases the most sustainable and freshest product available with 10% of sales going to the San Francisco Seafood Watch and Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Sustainable programs to help keep our oceans healthy.
