About the Readers
Allison Landa, whose work has been featured in Business Insider, Parents Magazine, The Guardian US, The Washington Post, and HuffPost Personal among other venues, wrote Bearded Lady as an account of life with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia. Landa teaches at The Writing Salon in San Francisco, has been a member of the San Francisco Writers Grotto, and earned her MFA in fiction writing from St. Mary's College of California. She lives in Berkeley, CA, where she works as a writing teacher and coach.
Sarah Kobrinsky was the 2013-2015 Poet Laureate of Emeryville, CA. She is the author of Nighttime on the Other Side of Everything (New Rivers Press, 2019). Her poems and stories have appeared in Magma Poetry, Red Light Lit, Eleven Eleven, Monkeybicycle, *82 Review, 100 Word Story, Fjords Review, among many others. She was long-listed for the 2019 University of Canberra Vice Chancellor's Poetry Prize. She was born in Canada, raised in North Dakota, seasoned in England, and tempered in California.
Lynn Mundell's writing has been published in SmokeLong Quarterly, Five Points, Tin House, The Sun and elsewhere. Her work has placed in the Wigleaf Top 50 Very Short Fictions short and long lists and earned the 2019 Lascaux Prize in Creative Nonfiction. She is co-founder and co-editor of 100 Word Story and its anthology, "Nothing Short Of." Her chapbook "Let Our Bodies Be Returned to Us" was published by Yemassee in March and is in its second printing.
Tracy Shapiro is an Oakland based writer and musician, currently earning an MFA in poetry and playwriting at San Francisco State University. She has released two albums, Tango (2016) and Ouroboros (2013), with her band, Steel Cranes, written and produced two plays, Celery for Two (2017) and Sex With Buddha (2015), and released a musical comedy album, Totally Awesome and Fine (2009), with her eponymous solo project.
