8th Annual Northern California Summit on Children and Youth - Building the Next Generation Workforce

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Richmond Community Foundation (RCF) is excited to partner once again with the West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD) to present this year's Summit on Children & Youth.

This year’s summit focuses on ensuring that our communities are prepared to fill the employment opportunities that we know will be available in our region in the coming years, including health care, information and communications technology (ICT), biotech and many other vocational professions that are critical to a highly functioning society.

This day will feature educators, community organizations, community leaders, local government and elected officials, businesses, and area foundations from throughout Northern California inspiring speakers and presentations from established programs throughout the Bay Area breakout sessions to discuss how the private sector can tackle challenges and provide opportunities for students in their preparations to fill professions that are critical to our society workshops for students to help them build critical skills such as networking, interviewing, writing cover letters, and building their personal brand presentations from businesses, community partners and entrepreneurs, and opportunities for students and teachers to interact directly with them.

A college and career fair and resource village for students.
