Join the Chinese Culture Center in celebrating the 8th Annual Chinatown Music Festival on Saturday, August 12th, from 11:00am – 5:00pm. Spanning two blocks on Waverly Place, this free fun-filled afternoon of music, dancing, and interactive design will feature the world debut of a new composition by pianist and composer Jon Jang and the theme of “Living Alleyways” to highlight the main arteries of the community and the vibrancy in the neighborhood through the arts.
The Chinatown Music Festival also brings together a blend of traditional and contemporary music performances by a wide range of local and international artists. In addition to the wonderful performances this year the Festival also includes a variety of engaging activities to enjoy such as interactive design exhibitions by local artists, Chinese opera face painting, dance, massage, Chinese puzzles, and much more!
