https://826valencia.org/volunteer-application/ To continue the process of becoming part of our vibrant volunteer community, I'd like to invite you to attend one of our upcoming volunteer orientations: November 5, 9 am to noon, at 826 Valencia’s Tenderloin Center Located just behind King Carl’s Emporium, on the corner of Leavenworth and Golden Gate Avenue only one block up from Civic Center Bart (address: 180 Golden Gate Ave) Please RSVP to confirm an orientation date. If none of the dates listed above fit your schedule I will gladly schedule you for a future date. Feel free to join us Monday if you do not hear back from me over the weekend! 2. If you haven’t yet, please submit a copy of your negative TB test results (or signed risk assessment form) to
[email protected]. This is a requirement for working with youth in California. 3. For your convenience, we will administer Livescan background checks during the orientation; for that purpose, please bring with you: * Your government issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) * $31 cash, check, or a credit card (if you can!). We ask our volunteers who are able to cover this cost by making their first donation to 826 Valencia, which covers the cost of the background check.
