Supporters have a choice of two screenings for “Blue Serengeti”:

“Blue Serengeti” is a documentary that tracks the largest migration on earth under the waters of our coast. With breakthrough camera and tracking technology, Dr. Barbara Block helps reveal one of the sharkiest places on earth and the rich eco system that supports them. She calls this first-hand portrait of a formerly unseen domain, “Blue Serengeti”.
The event will also include jaunty live music by Sea Forager’s sea shanty quartet, The Fishwives, delicious herring dishes presented by Sausalito restaurants and a brief presentation on the SCBC at Cass Gidley Marina project. As always, should our silvery little friends not arrive to our local waters on time (they love to keep us in suspense), local chefs will provide equally delectable bites.

AND hear the latest about the SCBC at Cass Gidley Marina project
All ticket sales support the Sausalito Community Boating Center at Cass Gidley Marina – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to create a place that provides affordable access to boats and the water, preserves our maritime history through education and skill building, and promotes stewardship of our local bay ecosystem. The Center will provide education and recreation for all abilities through Sausalito Parks & Recreation, implement STEM curriculum experiential learning programs with local schools, and follow the successful Teaching with Small Boats Association (TWSBA) learning model. Rentals and adult classes in a fleet of traditional wooden sail and rowboats will help fund the youth programs. We are excited to announce that we have ALL permits in hand and will break ground in early in the new year!
