San Francisco Veterans Mental Health Summit: Community Partners Serving Veterans
Hosted by San Francisco VA Health Care System, Swords to Plowshares and American Legion, Post 505 and the San Francisco Department of Aging and Adult Services
The purpose for the Veterans Mental Health Summit is to bring together organizations that serve veterans, with the goal of enhancing access to mental health services for veterans and their family members residing in the San Francisco Bay Area. This year’s summit will have a particular focus on aging veterans, including time devoted to women and LGBTQ veterans. The day will feature plenaries and break-out community strategy sessions, culminating in action items to improve care and information sharing throughout the year.

Continuing Education Credits (6) are available for LMFT, LPCC, LEP, LCSW, and CAADE professionals licensed in California.
Swords to Plowshares (License No. 129138) certifies that this course meets the qualifications for six (6) hours of continuing education credits for LMFTs, LPCCs, LEPs and LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Lunch and breaks are not included as part of the continuing education credits. A program will be distributed at the beginning of the day a detailed agenda. Certificates will be distributed at the end of the day.
Swords to Plowshares is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for the Veterans Mental Health Summit. Swords to Plowshares maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
