On October 11, 2017, the San Francisco Bay Area Committee will celebrate International Day of the Girl. Our featured speaker, Water For People CEO, Eleanor Allen will discuss the role that women play in the global water and sanitation crisis. This year’s film screening will be of the documentary, Women and Water (India), which presents the challenges that women face in providing water to their families. The event will include a reception with drinks and appetizers, raffle, and audience discussion.
