SEE EVENT DETAILS
COVID-19: The NCCBFQP places the safety and health of all our guests, candidates, staff, and community members as our highest priority. We will be taking precautions to help mitigate the risk of COVID-19 during Program Night. Our current policy will require masks and proof of vaccination including booster for all guest attendees. The policy is subject to change as area mandates are updated and the situation changes. Please check back in closer to Program Night for updates.

Since 1968, the Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival Queen Program has been dedicated to mentoring young women through community service, leadership, and cultural education.

Every April, a new court is selected to represent the Japanese American community for a year as cultural ambassadors.

On Queen Program Night, candidates showcase their speech, interview, and creative expression, as judges select them to represent the community. This tradition has become one of the main events during the annual Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival.

Please come out to support this year's court candidates as they take the first step on their journey as young leaders and representatives of the Japanese American community.

The Queen Program is under Sakura Matsuri Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Ticket sales will go directly to the Queen Program's fund, which will assist the court with their expenses throughout the year, pay for Program Night production costs, and other expenses that may occur throughout the year.

Please bring confirmation of your ticket purchase to the event. All tickets will be picked up at Will Call on April 9th at the event.

If you are a Candidate Sponsor, Corporate Sponsor, or Gift Donor, you may be eligible for VIP seating. Please reach out to us at [email protected].
