4th of July Parade & Fireworks in Napa

SEE EVENT DETAILS
The City of Napa is proud to partner again this year with JaM Cellars, Coors Light, Sunrise Rotary Napa and Kiwanis to bring Napa’s community and visitors an exceptional day full of activities.

“‘Napa Lights the Valley’ promises to be a fun, family-friendly event once again this year! We look forward to seeing families, neighbors and friends celebrating the 4th of July together in downtown Napa,” said City of Napa Mayor Jill Techel.

Sunrise Rotary Napa 4th of July Parade: 10am

Activities begin in downtown Napa at 10:00 a.m. with the Sunrise Rotary Napa 4th of July Parade, which will have a new route this year. The parade will start at 2nd Street and School Street, loop down 2nd Street, turn right at Brown Street and continue right up 3rd Street. The performance area, which will include a grandstand and parade judging, will be located at 3rd Street and Coombs Street.

Napa Lights the Valley Event: 12pm – 10pm

Parade: The parade will be followed by Napa Lights the Valley - a riverfront music and food festival that will begin at 12 p.m. and conclude with fireworks.

Music: Free music will play all day from the JaM Cellars stage in Veterans Memorial Park, with live bands, including Twice as Good, Panic is Perfect, and Mowgli’s. The Coors light Stage at Opera House Plaza will feature The Season of Us, Kristen Van Dyke and the Bunnies and The Amber Snider Band. The Main Street Food Alley will feature downtown restaurants, food trucks, outdoor dining, wine and beer tents and more.

Kids Zone: This year, the Kids Zone will be located at the Oxbow Commons from 12pm – 7pm, with new expanded offerings to include a DJ, tethered hot air balloon display, arts and crafts for kids, magic shows, carnival games and prizes, inflatables, food and beverages and a fantastic spot for a family picnic.

Fireworks Show: This year’s hi-tech pyrotechnic show is designed in collaboration with PyroSpectaculars, producer of Boston Pops and Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Celebration. Everyone wants a good seat to watch the fireworks – and there will be many! Enjoy the show from Oxbow Commons, 1st Street Bridge, Veterans Park, and Riverfront Green Park. Please note that the 3rd Street Bridge will NOT be closed for viewing.

Napa Lights the Valley is presented by City of Napa in partnership with presenting sponsors JaM Cellars and DBI Beverage, as well as Napa Kiwanis Club and Sunrise Rotary Napa.

“Celebrating July 4th in downtown Napa is such an important event in our community’s calendar. Michele and I are delighted to be a part of the celebration by adding great wine and fantastic music talent for our friends, neighbors and visitors of our hometown to enjoy!” said John Truchard of JaM Cellars.
