44th ANNUAL ST. CHRISTOPHER LADIES’ GUILD ANTIQUE SHOW
Friday, Saturday, Sunday – January 31st, February 1st, and 2nd 2014
2278 Booksin Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125

St. Christopher Ladies’ Guild will host its 44th Annual Antique Show - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, January 31st – February 2nd, 2014. For over 40 years, the traditions of the Antique Show have made it the place to be the first weekend in February. And this year is no different as we journey on to “ A Passport to Paris” for this weekend of fun for the whole family.

From all around the bay area come our 23 Antique Dealers who will be showcasing a mix of antique furniture, jewelry, silver, crystal and more... Antique buffs won’t want to miss Steven Wayne Yvaska, columnist, lecturer and appraiser who will be at the show all weekend. On Friday, January 31st Mr. Yvaska will be amongst the dealers in Vintage Hall and there to greet our guests. Saturday, February 1st at 1p.m. he will lead a short program on “Dating our Treasures: Is it Antique, Collectable or Vintage?” The weekend will conclude with his expert appraising on Sunday, Feb. 2nd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Antiques are not the only thing to shop for while at this event. The Pavilion Tent, which occupies our front parking lot, is where one can shop for handcrafted items in our Boutique, fresh flowers and garden trinkets in the Flower/Garden Shop and gets yummy baked goods, including pizzelles, from our Pantry….and much more!

In addition to antiques, flowers, and handcrafted items, “Nina’s Bon Appétit Café ” will be serving lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday, and breakfast, lunch and an early dinner on Sunday. The menus will include the event’s famous calamari, pepper-steak sandwiches, lasagna, and meatballs, along with some French favorites. Come to savor Chicken Cordon Bleu, Steak and Frites, delicious mud pie for dessert, and other foods all served by charming eighth grade students. The To-Go window is open all weekend long for those wanting to take their delicious meal home to enjoy.

The show hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday, while the restaurant stays open until 9 p.m. On Sunday, the hours are 10 a.m. to 2 pm. However, our restaurant opens early at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday for breakfast. Lasagna dinners on Sunday will be available from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. while To Go will remain open until 4 p.m.

Admission to the Antique Show is a $5 donation per person. We are located at the corner of Booksin and Curtner Avenues in San Jose.
