FAQs
What's the dress code for 40 Years | 40 Peers?
Come dressed for a party--a big, fun, 40th birthday party! That said, we won't be enforcing a dress code at the door; we encourage you to come as you're comfortable and in what feels celebratory for you.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Gray Area/Grand Theater is on Mission Street by 23rd, a block from multiple transit options (24th Street BART and Muni lines 14, 14R, 48, 49, 67).
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Reach out to
[email protected] with any questions, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks!
What if I want to help with the event?
Let us know--we'd love your help! This might include helping with the silent auction, or volunteering to staff the registration table, or helping prepare materials before the event. Reach out at
[email protected]!
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we'll have your information at the registration table. If you bought a ticket in your name--or bought a group of tickets in your name--we ask that you arrive with your group or provide all the anmes ahead of the event so we can easily check people in when they arrive at the door.
I'd like my company/organization to buy a table! After all, this is a fundraiser for Peers, right?
Yes, it's a fundraiser, and thank you for wanting to "buy a table"! Unlike a traditional non-profit gala, however, this isn't a sit-down-at-a-table-of-ten event. Like Peers, it's highly interactive, with lots of spaces to move around, or sit, listen, talk, meet folks, and reconnect. And yes, there will also be bites to eat and drinks at the bar. But there are no tables to buy.
If you want to give more, please buy a group of ten tickets, and your org's name will be listed among our community partners who have sponsored the event, and you'll have ten tickets for ten folks to attend the event! (It's up to you who those ten folks are--from your company, from your old Peers program, or for Peer Resources to distribute to those who aren't able to afford a ticket).
