Alameda-based arts organization, West End Arts District, is thrilled to announce the third annual Fiesta Alameda, a free one-day festival celebrating Latin music, dance, culture, food, and drinks. Taking place at the Radium Runway (Alameda Point) with its unique views of the San Francisco Bay, the crowd will be jumping to the beats of regional Latin performers.
The music performances include:
12pm-1pm: Petate (Indian, Latin Fusion)
1:45-2:45pm: Radio Cafe (Afro-Peruvian Psychedelic Rock)
3pm-4pm: Sang Matiz (Afro-Latin Tropical Spice)
4:30pm-6pm: VibraSON (Latin Vibraphone, Salsa)
Other entertainment includes:

1:15pm-1:45pm: Grupo Folklorico Tlapalli (Mexican Folk Dance)
2:45pm-3pm: Batala San Francisco (Samba Reggae, Afro-Brazilian)
4pm-4:30pm: In Lak'ech Dance Academy (Dance)
Plus, In Lak'ech Dance Academy will dazzle the audience with dance sets and teach free dance classes throughout the day. Festival emcee, Per Sia, will keep the audience entertained between musical performances.
What's a festival without a great bar? Fiesta Alameda features hometown Latino-owned Building 43 Winery serving their delicious wines and craft brews from Latino-owned Del Cielo Brewery. Plus local craft beers, wines, margaritas and more.
Experience the festival from the Fiesta Fanaticas VIP Zone with spectacular views of the stage, 2 drink tickets and private bar, and spacious shaded seating.
Michael Lane Homes is sponsoring the kids' crafting zone. Kids of all ages will be getting crafty and creative with Rhythmix Cultural Works. The USS Hornet Jet Cockpit from an F8 Crusader will be available for attendees to sit in the pilot's seat and for photo opportunities. Families can also browse from dozens of artisan vendors selling art, body products, apparel, jewelry, and more.
Free, RSVP suggested.
