San Jose Japantown hosts its 38th annual Nikkei Matsuri festival embracing the local community's love and appreciation for Japanese-American culture and heritage. The festival will feature a variety of Japanese-American art, crafts, food, and music in the heart of San Jose Japantown, one of only three surviving Japantowns in the nation.
While in Japantown, visitors should also stop by the "Kodomo No Hi" Children's Day celebration at the Japanese American Museum of San Jose, the Yu Ai Kai Health Fair and Akiyama Wellness Center, and the Japantown Farmer's Market.
