a documentary detailing the life and experiences of Palestinian poet Mosab Abo Touha and his homeland, Palestine
7:40 PM POST ATLANTIC (US, 29 min)
explores the visionary world of legendary African-American painter and philosopher Dewey Crumpler as he connects the transatlantic slave trade to modern globalization, demonstrating what it means to be a working artist with a conscience in today's society.
SESSION 17
8:20 PM THE TRUE STORY OF TAMARA DE LEMPICKA AND THE ART OF SURVIVAL (US, 96 min)
traces the life and survival of the renowned painter through her powerful paintings - from her rise to international stardom in 1920s Paris, to her move to the United States fleeing fascism in 1940, to her revival in the current art market.
