Bridging the Past with the Future — Celebrating 40 Years of Caring Science
Hosted by Kaiser Permanente Northern California, the 24th International Caritas Consortium will be held October 17 and 18 in San Francisco, CA. We will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the first publication of Dr. Jean Watson's theory of human caring in her book Nursing: The Philosophy and Science of Caring.
The International Caritas Consortium is open to nurses and care team members from around the world. Be inspired by luminaries including Dr. Jean Watson, Barbara Dossey, Larry Dossey, Mary Jo Kreitzer, Janet Quinn and many others from WCSI affiliate organizations and caring science leaders.
Register early as seating is limited. The program will be held from 7:30-3:30p both Thursday and Friday. The agenda is different each day, and you may choose to attend one or both days. See the event website for more details.
