The 21st TNDC Celebrity Pool Toss, San Francisco’s splashiest party, returns to the stylish courtyard of the Phoenix Hotel/Chambers Eat + Drink (601 Eddy Street) on October 8 at 6pm when Bay Area notables will voluntarily get tossed in the pool to raise money for those less fortunate. For the past 21 years, the annual TNDC Celebrity Pool Toss has raised nearly $4 million for Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation’s (TNDC) youth and family programs like the Tenderloin After-School Program that provides a safe, quiet and creative place for hundreds of low-income kids to go after school.
Celebrity emcees will introduce the illustrious tossees while friends, family and fans bid on the chance to throw them in the pool. This year’s TNDC Celebrity Pool Toss will be co-hosted by Jason Lewis, actor and Tori Ritchie, cookbook author and blogger at TuesdayRecipe.com and co-chaired by Laura King Pfaff and Jim Losi.
