21st Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration - 50th Year Anniversary

Coming together for 21 years to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., this year's celebration marks the 50th anniversary of Dr. King's death and will focus on our individual abilities to "Bend the Arc" towards Dr. King's vision of a moral universe. The program will feature inspiring performances by Westlake Middle School Jazz Ensemble, Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir, and Oakland Interfaith Youth Choir. Speakers include the Honorable Barbara Lee, U.S. Congresswoman, and the Honorable Tony Thurmond, Assemblyman, and others.
