USBG members and friends are invited to join us on Tuesday, September 25th as we celebrate philanthropy and entrepreneurship with Blue Angel Vodka and the USBG National Charity Foundation. Learn all about the life and story of Maurice Kanbar, a spirits industry magnate with a heart of gold, as we make a toast and a $20,000 donation to the National Charity Foundation.
At this meeting Maurice will chat about building businesses, supporting his community, winning double-gold medals at the SF World Spirits Competition, and how to make the perfect Blue Angel Martini. We'll also hear from Genevieve Porter about charitable organization management, fundraising and programming, including information on two cornerstones of the USBG NCF: The Helen David Relief Fund and the Bartender Emergency Assistance Program.
This event is open to all USBG members and their friends or associates (discounted tickets are available for USBG SF members). Beverages and snacks will be served. Guests must be at least 21 years of age.
