**San Francisco Hosts 2026 National Animal Rights Day Event to Honor and Advocate for Animals**
On Sunday, June 7th, from 1-3 PM, the 16th annual National Animal Rights Day (NARD) will be commemorated at Civic Center Plaza in front of City Hall in San Francisco. This 16th annual event, now observed in 95 cities in 39 countries worldwide, serves as a powerful platform to advocate for legal rights for non-human animals, inspire positive change for their care and honor the lives of animals harmed by humans.

The event will feature renowned speakers in a rousing rally, followed by a march, a memorial ceremony officiated by religious leaders to pay tribute to the billions of animals who suffer due to human actions, and a celebration with new music envisioning a better future for all sentient beings.
