2022 Fintech Is Femme, San Francisco

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at The Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center (see times)
Fintech Is Femme is an evening storytelling event where female fintech founders, executives, and leaders will share their personal stories of struggle and success. This event welcomes the female fintech perspective into the centerfold to share the trials and tribulations of being a female in a heavily male-dominated industry.

Let's have some fun with the female fintech community of San Francisco!

Speakers:

Brandis DeSimone is the Managing Director @Nasdaq. Brandis will touch on what it's like watching the evolution of a fintech company from startup to IPO, her experience as an outsider in a largely male-dominated environment, and how her military experience translates to her Nasdaq role now.

Laura Moreno Lucas is a finance executive and Latina entrepreneur who launched Pandocap, a financial services company built around her experience in the capital markets. Pandocap focuses on distilling market complexities into easy-to-understand information and provides customized pre-IPO guidance and ESG consulting.

Laura was a top sales executive at Salesforce, TD Ameritrade and Sungard. Between finance and tech roles, Laura founded Ladada, one of the first startup fashion subscription services that featured emerging new designers.

Liz Fritz is co-founder and chief commercial officer for F2 Strategy where she leads all brand strategy, digital marketing, advertising, social media, content and PR for the organization. She brings almost 20 years of experience working with some of the most well-known global brands in the HNW and UHNW space such as Wells Fargo Private Bank, Abbott Downing, U.S. Bank and BNP Paribas.

Liz is a frequent industry contributor, webinar participant and proud Chief member, the only organization specifically designed for senior women leaders to strengthen their leadership journey. She is particularly passionate about creating a company culture of well-being and supporting other women in the WealthTech and Fintech industries.

Michelle Tran is a passionate leader with success in financial services and fintech (specifically wealthtech). She is currently SVP, Head of Enterprise Sales at Vestwell, a digital 401k provider helping millions of people save for retirement. Her professional background includes BlackRock (San Francisco, Hong Kong, NYC), Apex Clearing, and Harness Wealth. Michelle has industry experience that includes FinTech, WealthTech, Asset Management, Clearing/Custody, Payments, BaaS, Digital Assets, and more.

As the Co-Founder of the largest fintech community (8k+ member). She have been recognized as an industry leader by the Innovate Finance Powerlist (Senior Leader category 2019, 2020), #28 on the Top Women In FinTech 2021 by FinTech Magazine, and Primary Venture's 40 NYC Leaders You Need to Know.

Vrinda Gupta, CEO and founder of Sequin, has a passion for empowering women and helping them to take control of their spending.

Inspired by personal experience, as well as an impressive career in financial services with Visa, Gupta, a first-generation immigrant to the US from India, is taking a stand and disrupting the US finserve system, which she says is heavily weighted towards the male, rather than female users.
