A Final Farewell to Boch

The 2019 San Francisco Giants season has come to an end. And the narrative created back in the spring – a new GM would rebuild the farm system, nobody would be exempt from trades to help bring in new talent, and Bruce Bochy would be retiring at the end of the season – pretty much played itself out as planned. The only anomaly, and highlight of the season, was an amazing July run.

But for fans, nothing so sucinctly encapsulates the three World Series title era as Bruce Bochy’s time as the Giants manager. His steady hand made a masterful use of the bullpen a modern game necessity… those post season runs… it’s the stuff legends are made of. So in salute to the Hall of Fame manager…

We’ll miss you. Thank you Boch.
