MTV’s South Lake Tahoe Music Festival Headliners Include Skrillex, E-40, Vince Staples, Gigantic NGHTMRE & More
Coming a little less than a year after it was announced that MTV would purchase the SnowGlobe Music Festival, fans of festival were primed for what would be in-store. With MTV’s help, expectations were that the production quality would keep going up and that a few surprise additions would incorporate skiing and snowboarding. And so, with the lineup announcement, as far as the music is concerned, the 9th iteration of SnowGlobe can still boast that it remains the premier New Years’ Eve electronic music festival in the High Sierra.
October 25 Update: Chinese American musician and singer ZHU has been added as a headliner for the festival!
Not only is Skrillex set to be the main headliner on New Years’ Eve, but the three-day festival has also secured electro talents like Gigantic NGHTMRE, GRiZ, Fisher, Louis the Child, Tchami x Malaa. Other noteworthy artists performing this year include rappers Vince Staples and E-40, along with electronic acts like Whethan, Clozee, A-Trak and SNBRN. There will also be back-to-back performances by the Brownies & Lemonade All-Stars, along with a surprise U.S. debut of a yet-to-be-announced artist.
