Beautiful Bloody Mary

We all know that the Bloody Mary is a stellar brunch cocktail because of its bright blend of tomato spiciness, vodka, and veggies. Plus it’s a great “hair of the dog” drink right up there with the Michelada. So, in celebration of this classic drink, The Bloody Mary Festival, at SOMArts, will allow attendees to do tastings from The Front Porch, Seawolf Public House, The Ramp, Foreign Cinema, St Mary’s Pub, Cliff House, The Valley Tavern, Crown & Crow American Bar, Bluestem Brasserie, Pablito’s Michelada Mix, Demitri’s Gourmet Mixes, Pacific Pickle Works, McDuff’s Mixers, and McVicker’s Pickles and vote for their favorites.

“This Festival has evolved into the city’s premier brunch-time event.” said Evan Weiss, founder of The Bloody Mary Festival. “It’s way more than just a Bloody Mary event. The Festival has evolved into a cocktail and food tasting event as attendees have the opportunity to sample and enjoy a variety of spirits and snacks.”

“Sometimes you need coffee, and sometimes you need a Bloody Mary.” – Mike Dirnt
