Cali Roots Festival Celebrates 10 Years of Reggae and Arts

The California Roots Music and Arts Festival returns to Monterey for the 10th consecutive year of reggae music and arts, hosted over Memorial Day weekend. The three-day gathering will feature another wonderful lineup that includes: Slightly Stoopid, Atmosphere, Cypress Hill, Ben Harper, UB40, Dirty Heads, Citizen Cope, and Rebelution. Plus, in between sets, there will be pop up performances, DJ sets, and art installations.

Tickets are on sale now, starting at $105 for a single day ticket or $240 for a three-day general admission pass. VIP, camping, and shuttle passes are also available for purchase.

Since 2011, Cali Roots has partnered Blue Strike to create a waste diversion program by introducing new policies and a sustainable framework for the festival. This year organizers are committed to sending zero items to the landfill, urging attendees to be prepared to pack out all non-recyclable or non-compostable items brought into the festival.
