Women Sound Off, fka ‘Women in Music Festival’ is celebrating more than just music this April 5th to 7th for its third annual weekend festival in Oakland. Women from all walks of creative and non-creative life are invited to connect during this three-day journey into business empowerment, education, and alliance-building. With DJs and in-concert guests throughout, music sets the tone. And there’s more for the crowd, as entrepreneurship panels and discussions are blending with inclusive parties and markets.

There’s a Boss Brunch (April 7th) with a panel of three, accompanied by overflowing whiskey mimosas. Sound Off Day (April 6th) features fireside chats and other conducive settings for networking and finding a cohort. Women Breaking Ground in Music (April 5th) brings five women pros speaking on their radically diverse backgrounds in the music industry. Eat Shop Talk (April 7th) contains some of Oakland’s most underground women-owned businesses. DJ sets provided. And more music hits the stage at the Women Sound Off Concert (April 6th) with local, nationally recognized and special musical guests.

Starting back in 2107 Women Sound Off’s (WSO) provided some great performances and unique connections. In the last two years the festival has evolved to include more emphasis beyond music and help women be more successful in the industry.
