SEE EVENT DETAILS

REGISTER HERE: ZEBConference.com

On September 26th and 27th 2019, the Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) will convene over 500 international zero-emission bus stakeholders in discussions on the role of clean transit in addressing climate change and the health of our communities.  The aim of the Conference is to explore the requirements needed for a complete transition to zero-emission bus transport. The agenda will cover:

Latest technology innovations that enable ZEBs to be deployed at scale including discussions regarding infrastructure and utilities
Policies allowing increased purchasing of ZEBs
Operators’ methods to transition fleets in cost-effective minimally disruptive ways
Role of transit as a key pillar in addressing climate change and providing zero-emission solutions accessible to all

CTE’s position as an environmentally focused non-profit and the Conference host allows us to ensure that the dialogue around zero-emission vehicles includes how these technical solutions will bring quality of life benefits to all communities. Transit is a public good often providing service to the most underserved communities. Zero-emission buses can be used as a critical tool to both expose these communities to cutting edge clean electric drive technology as well as provide them with real long lasting health and economic security benefits. Zero-emission buses are a key tool for ensuring that climate change solutions include environmental justice and equity priorities.
