Cocoa, Beer and BBQ Come Together at Dandelion’s 12 Nights of Chocolate

If you love chocolate, you must have heard of Dandelion Chocolate’s 12 Nights of Chocolate, a series of events inviting chefs to craft chocolate-centric meals for a good cause, donating all proceedings to the SF-Marine Food Bank. Many of the highly coveted meals are already sold out, but some still have tickets. On December 7th, for example, Dandelion is bringing together a number of delicious heavyweights;  Shake Shack, Salt & Straw, 4505 Burgers & BBQ, and Fort Point Beer co.

While the elevated fast food mega-hit that is Shake Shack is getting ready to open its first Bay Area branch in Palo Alto, the event will  give you a first taste of special hamburger and offer collaborative sweets with Salt & Straw ice cream, as well as 4505 chocolate-infused BBQ served with a side of delicious cocoa flavored beer. Tickets are available.

Hungry for more? On December 13th, Avery Ruzicka (Manresa Bread), Mikiko Yui (Stonemill Matcha), and Sean Ehland (Marla Bakery) are hosting a night of sweet and savory baked goods, and on December 5th Dandelion’s  Valencia Street café and factory will screen Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, with treats and hot chocolate on the side.
