Noise Pop Unveils Acts for 2019 Festival (Beirut, Albert Hammond Jr., Baths)

Organizers of the Noise Pop Music Festival have announced the phase one lineup, with highlights including indie rock band Beirut, guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. from the band The Strokes, and California electronic musician Baths.

The one-week event returns to the Bay Area beginning February 25th through March 3rd, 2019; with multiple events taking place each night. See below for the full list of artists from the phases one of the lineup announcement. Participating music acts will be revealed in waves until February.

November 29 Update: Phase two lineup announcement has been revealed, with rapper Princess Nokia, French chill house producer Petit Biscuit, and UK eletro group Tourist among some of the newly named participants at next year’s festival. Full lineup updated below.

January 8 Update: The phase three lineup has been announced, and it includes the additions of musician and actor Saul Williams, folk songstress Joy Williams (of The Civil Wars), and singer-songwriter Ben Morrison (of The Brothers Comatose), along with many others. More Bay Area acts joining the lineup in the coming weeks, but the current list of artists include the final Noise Pop Fest 2019 headliners. The latest lineup is updated below.

January 25 Update: The complete lineup has been revealed, with organizers adding a bunch of Bay Area artists in addition to tickets for all individual shows including for each of the newly announced performers. Newly announced acts include DJ Aaron Axelson, San Francisco pop punk band The Total Bettys, and Oakland-based psychedelic rock group Sugar Candy Mountain. See below for the full list and the local spotlight poster.

Tickets to individual shows go on sale this Friday, October 26 at 10am.

Early Bird and Super Fan badges are now on sale, starting at $149 and $399 respectively. Pricing will increase as the festival approaches and as more information is announced; with Phase one general badges increasing to $179 once Early Bird badges sell out. Similar to last year, badge holders will have access to film screenings and film-related events. Additionally, badges grant access to all general admission (non-seated) music concerts, badge-only happy hours, NPHQ and some very special events soon to be announced.

This year, there’s also a new option, the Super Fam badge ($850); which consists of two premium Super Fan badges, offering red carpet treatment at the festival, guaranteed entry to all festival events, a special merch package, complimentary drink tickets to select events, and a personal Noise Pop concierge available for assistance throughout the festival. Furthermore, a nice feature of the Super Fam badge allows badge holders to switch out their +1 guests.

The official artwork for this year’s festival will feature works by Kristin Farr.

Last year, Noise Pop Festival saw its highest attendance to date, hosting over 30,000 attendees. The 2018 festival hosted over 180 musicians at more than 25 Bay Area venues; with events including concerts, film screenings, art shows, and more.
