Organizers for Outside Lands festival announced the lineup for their series of night shows that will be taking place before and during the 11th annual festival on August 10-12. Artists participating in the festival and night shows this year include singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen, indie rockers Broken Social Scene, and electro-soul duo Big Gigantic.
There are a total of 10 nighttime concerts happening at venues across San Francisco. The Broken Social Scene show at the Independent will also be a fundraiser for the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department. These shows are a great opportunity to catch festival acts able to perform a more complete live show in a smaller environment, especially compared to the festival stages. Festival ticket holders can purchase tickets beginning this Thursday at 10am, while the remaining tickets for the general public go on sale Friday at 10am.
