Three-Day Festival ‘Serenity Gathering’ Migrates to Northern California (G Jones, Ott & More)
The fifth annual Serenity Gathering will take place at Northern California’s Woodward Reservoir after spending many years in Southern California. The three-day festival pledging to create an environment of positive collaboration geared toward art and music has a new camping site located about 2-hours drive east of San Francisco in Oakdale.
The music lineup this year features bass artist G Jones, psychedelic dub master Ott, Australian producer Kalya Scintilla, electronic Americana trio Dirtwire, dubstep act Stylust Beats, and live band performance by Bay Area hip-hop legends Zion I. See further below for the full lineup.
All of the beat selectors will collaborate with dynamic performance artists, creating an ethereal playground for participants to free their mind, body, and spirit. Mindfully planned to coincide with the full moon rising in Scorpio, a significant time to recognize the power of imagination.

Other special activities include leading lunar ambassadors Moontribe hosting a Full Moon Takeover and a special to whimsical soul Pumpkin, whose last festival performance before his unfortunate passing was Serenity Gathering. In addition, the divine High Priestess of Bali Ida Resi Alit who will offer daily water blessings and preside over the Official Closing Ceremony. There will also be more on-site activities painting and dance classes.

In previous years, Serenity Gathering has taken place at various locations in Southern California such as Santa Barbara, San Diego, and Joshua Tree. Entering its fifth year, the beloved conscious gathering moved to Woodward Reservoir to expand festival offerings, seeking comfortable temperatures, serene waters, and an easily accessible route from all corners of California. Excitement about the new festival environment is so palpable that Serenity Gathering organizers are already working directly with the local community to establish a permanent residency at Woodward Reservoir.
