2018 YPE Gala & Charity Fundraiser - With Abby Hopper & Dan Shugar

You are invited to join all who love energy, at YPE's 2018 Gala & Charity Fundraiser, our marquee annual event! This year's semi-formal Gala will be hosted at the prestigious St Francis Yacht Club on Nov 27, from 5:45pm – 10:00pm. This year's guests of honour include:
Abby Hopper – The President & CEO of the Solar Energy Industries Association. Abby drives solar policy by leading SEIA through today's turbulent and unpredictable political environment. As solar gains prominence and records unprecidental growth, Abby guides SEIA's research, communications, and industry leadership support.
Dan Shugar – The energy exec we all want to become. Founder & CEO of Nextracker, former CEO of Solaria, former President at SunPower and at PowerLight. He throws the best solar parties, and even provides the entertainment, "slappen da bass" like you wish you could.
The evening will begin with a wine reception and sunset water views. Then our distinguished guests of honor will give a short address with their take on 2018’s energy year-in-review, along with their view on the landscape for 2019, finished with Q&A:
The ticket price includes a 3-course dinner (Fish, chicken or veg option), sustainably produced Sonoma wine, an incredible Bay view and sunset, and insightful energy discussion to kick off the holidays! Attire is semi-formal.
