10 Adorable Photos to Get You Ready for Cuteness Overload at the NorCal Corgi Con

Whether your own your own or simply love the small herding dogs known as Corgis, you might want to make your way down to Ocean Beach for the twice annual free event. This Saturday, Corgi owners and fanatics will get together for a fun-filled day at the beach, costumes and a giant group photo.

Starting at 10am, attendees will be asked to sign in to get an accurate count. Around 11:30am, organizers will attempt a group photo of the massive canine gathering on the beach. At high noon, there will be a Corgi costume contest with the most creative receiving a prize. 30 minutes later, the four-legged races begin with multiple heats. The top two winners from each heat will advance to the finals and prizes will be handed out to the three fastest pups.

The event will be located at on Ocean Beach at San Francisco between Stairwell 21 and Fulton Street. Merch will also be for sale and will benefit Queen’s Best Stumpy Dog Rescue and CorgiAid, Inc. Last year over 730 corgis showed up for the occasion, we’ll have to see what happens on Saturday!

For more information, visit the event’s website and Facebook page. The next mobilization happens again in October.
