Mad Decent Block Party Returns, First Round of Lineup Announced
Electronic music mega star Diplo and his Mad Decent crew have been throwing block parties nationwide for many years, including the past two in Berkeley. On September 10, their Mad Decent Block Party returns to its third iteration in Northern California.
Although the music lineups are unique depending on the city, four acts have been revealed so far for the Greek Theatre show. Returning as a headliner is moombahton master Dillon Francis, along with Montreal producer Grandtheft, New York electronic artist Jai Wolf, and Mad Decent’s creative director and dance act Paul Devro.
More artists will be announced in the coming months. Check out the teaser trailer below for the 2016 block parties. Tickets are available now for $65.

Last year, the lineup featured Diplo’s dancehall group Major Lazer, Korean pop stars CL, San Francisco resident Slaptop, tropical house act Thomas Jack, hip-hop artist Travis Scott, and Australian Emoh Instead’s electronic project What So Not.
