Although the Outside Lands official lineup announcement is still many months away, it has been confirmed that rock band Radiohead will headline the festival in addition to other major North American music festivals this year.
The British band announced their first show since 2012 earlier this week when they appeared on the lineup for Primavera Sound festival in Spain. Sources have confirmed that they will continue to make headlining appearances at North American festivals this year, including Lollapalooza in Chicago and Osheaga Music Festival in Montreal, Canada.
Radiohead headlined the inaugural Outside Lands festival back in 2008. This year, Outside Lands runs August 5–7 in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. Last year the official Outside Lands lineup announcement was revealed in mid March.
Radiohead has a yet to be titled album coming out later this year, but very little is known about the follow-up to their 2011 record King of Limbs.
