It's our FREE election night results viewing party. Who will win the presidency? Will the Dems take back the Senate? Will it be a history-changing night with the Republicans losing the House of Representatives? Will we elect the first Latina ever OR the first Indian-American AND second black woman to the US Senate? Who will take the local races? And how about all of those pesky measures and propositions? Lastly, will my candidate, Dr. Jill Stein, rise in the polls and shock everyone in seven days time?
2016 is the first year that we'll be open for a US presidential election and we're going to celebrate this in style (New Parkway-style, that is). As Bernie would say, it's a H-U-G-E night for so many reasons, and we'll be broadcasting three streams starting at 5pm and running all the way 'til 11pm when we should have some substantive results. Or, if we don't, it will be some of the best reality TV ever, replete with overeating and excessive drinking. The kitchen will stay open until 9:30 and drinks will be sold until 10:00pm.
Doors will open at 5pm sharp, right as most of the East Coast polls close. Admission is free. Seating and standing room only is all on a first-come, first-served basis. And here's the broadcast schedule:
Lobby and Mezzanine: PBS (Break from 7:30-9:00 for Bingo)
Theater 1: CNN
Theater 2: Fox News
