Smitten Ice Cream to Open New Location in Pacific Heights

On a day like today, when the weather’s nice, ice cream is definitely in order. Cold, creamy and forever childhood-evoking, good ice cream is always a welcome escape. Local brand Smitten Ice Cream is always there to help out with the experience. Their unique liquid nitrogen-based method for creating ice cream super-freezes the ingredients, allowing for a surreal, fresh deliciousness that’s made to order. And to top it off, the Smitten in San Francisco is situated right next to Hayes Valley Green; a convenient place to just sit for a moment, people watch, soak up the sun and enjoy your ice cream.

Coming in May, the rapidly expanding Smitten Ice Cream will be bringing their famous Brrrr machines and unique flavors to a new location in Pacific Heights. The 2404 California Street location features an open kitchen so customers can follow along as their order is created. Unlike Smitten’s previous spots, the new location will include vast indoor and outdoor sitting areas – but if the weather allows, take your creamy goodness to the nearby Alta Plaza or Lafayette Park.

Smitten Ice Cream is located at 432 Octavia St. #1A (at Linden St.), (415) 863-1518. http://smittenicecream.com
