Tanlines and King Tuff to Headline 5th Annual Phono del Sol Festival

Back for its 5th year, Phono del Sol festival will host a full day of indie music and delicious local treats at Potrero del Sol Park (25th Street and Utah) in the Mission, headlined by electro rock band Tanlines and psychedelic garage rockers King Tuff.

The full day of festivities on July 11 from 12pm to 7pm are presented by local not-for-profit music news outlet the Bay Bridged in partnership with local recording studio Tiny Telephone and DoTheBay. There will be additional music performances by Generationals, VÉRITÉ and Marriages to SF, as well as local acts Sonny & The Sunsets, Everyone Is Dirty, The Tropics, TIARAS and Scary Little Friends.

Organizers arranged for a tasty collection of local food trucks, with Bacon Bacon, Ebbett’s Good To Go, Hella Vegan Eats, Little Red Riding Truck, Mozzeria Pizzeria, Post Street Creamery, Sajj Street Eats, and Tacos San Buena. Libations available at the event include signature cocktails developed by Buffalo Club and Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, plus plenty of Lagunitas beer for everyone.

Tickets are on sale now with a limited number of early bird tickets and “Bring a Friend” ticket six-packs. There are also general admission and VIP tickets (VIPs get beverage discounts, access to private bathrooms and an express bar line, and an official Phono del Sol beer koozie). A portion of festival proceeds supports the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department.

More participating vendors will be announced in the coming weeks. Visit the festival website for all the details.
