The Warfield transformed into the “Wu-Field” on Saturday with Wu-Tang’s logo taking over the venue’s facade before the crew hit the stage.

Performing in advance the new album, A Better Tomorrow, due sometime before the end the year, the group stuck to mostly Wu classics with RZA, GZA, Ghostface, Method Man and company trading verses.

An added bonus, local favorites Souls of Mischief opened the show with tracks from their excellent new album There Is Only Now.
